"On the job in 2009, I got into an accident and the results carry through until today.

It shifted my possibilities, my energy and my work and I was angry for a long time.

I have to spread work out over multiple days and have to dance around pain levels and energy levels.

Still feeling the strength in me, it is a tough combination but I still find a lot of joy in my own family, friends, the mountains and my art.

Mother nature told me to slow down hard several times and I am still trying to get a grip on that :).

Life in general is beautiful and I am thankful for all that I have around me. The focus in life shifted and that is a good thing in the long run."

I hadn't read Yvonne's story since I selected her to be one of the thirty women to take part in 30 Days of Gorgeous.  So, as I write this blog post, I am struck by the fact that throughout her photo session and when she came back to view and select her favourite prints, she hardly mentioned her accident. 

It is clearly a big deal, something that has pivoted her path unexpectedly.  But, she doesn't wallow in despair. 

Yvonne is an upbeat, bright, glowing personality who is fun to be around.  This woman has big plans.  Life has thrown her some lemons, and she is making lemonade!  So inspiring!
