Can you believe this gorgeous woman just turned 40?  Me neither!

The beautiful woman I'm talking about is the lovely Lancette.  Lancette is a busy professional and has two adorable young children.  Aside from working full time, she is also a successful Calgary artist and photographer!  Her paintings are absolutely stunning.  You can see them here - she is a true talent!  Despite all of the positives in her life, Lancette shared something really personal with me on her application to participate in 30 Days of Gorgeous:

"I have struggled with my self esteem since I was a 7 year over weight child who was bullied. And I still have feelings of insecurities about my body... I seem to care less and less as I get older but being insecure is still there."

After her session, Lancette was glowing.  

"I had a wonderful experience getting the model treatment. My hair and makeup was beautiful, the experience was fun and professional and the photos [were] absolutely beautiful. Laurie created a comfortable and safe space to be beautiful..."

I hope that finally Lancette can shed those insecurities that have followed her for most of her life.  She is absolutely stunning, and has the images to prove it!  This week, I am sharing her experience and images in a short video.  Enjoy!
