Headshots for Giving Tuesday

I have been a proud member of 100 Women Who Care Calgary for 3 years now.  As a collective, we have raised >$230,000 for local charities.  Beyond that, we are raising awareness of local charities that do not have the funds to advertise, and frankly, that I have never heard of!  Four times a year, I look forward to spending an hour (or two) in a room filled with these amazing and generous women.  We laugh, we cry, we drink, we eat.  And, at the end of it all, we feel pretty darn good that we are making a difference in our city.

I wanted to do something nice for these women.  Christmas was approaching, and our meeting was going to land on "Giving Tuesday".  It was the perfect time for me to give!  I decided to offer complimentary headshots to all the members directly after the meeting.  I brought my studio lights and accessories and set up in a corner of the Country Hills Golf & Country Club.  I also asked my professional hair and makeup artist, Nadya (Makeup Arts) to come and help out.
