Claire is a company director, wife, mother and 110% woman who believes that a smile makes someone beautiful.

She has a history of modelling in her teens and twenties, but with age she has lost her confidence. She works in a high-pressure environment with long hours, so can often be found with a top bun, comfy jeans and her favourite “More Issues Than Vogue” t-shirt. There’s not a lot of time for “glamour” in her life, but there are lots and lots of laughs. Claire has an ability to turn a bad situation into a moment of laughter with her quick wit and sharp sense of humour. You cannot help but smile around Claire – she loves to make people smile.

Her love comes unconditionally, and she has been through some tough times lately to support those around her who need it most. It has meant that half of her forties has been focused on everyone else but her.

Her mom died of cancer and her dad spent 6 months in the hospital not once, but twice.

'Being able to love, laugh, comfort and be a friend is what it means to me to be a woman. I am a company director, wife, mother and 110% woman.'

Her husband lost his job of 35 years and she went through menopause twice. Yep, you read that right – it can happen! All while working in a high-pressure job.

At 48 years old, it’s about time to do something for herself!

'Lately bringing sexy back means my hair isn’t in a bun and I’m not wearing Uggs.'

That’s why she signed up for 30 Days of Gorgeous with me.

'I’m 48. Sometimes I say 48 in dog years. Over the last 5 years it been about everyone else but me.'

Oh, and we brought sexy back for Claire – and then some! Her Reveal was so much fun. She was absolutely blown away by her images. She texted her daughter, whose response was

“Taylor’s Mom has got it going on” (to the tune of “Stacy’s Mom” by Fountains of Wayne).

'I see myself so different from other people. I don’t know how to take a compliment. I find it awkward and embarrassing.'

Claire could not stop looking at herself. She has not seen this gorgeous side of herself in such a long time. This is a woman who said she doesn’t know how to take a compliment. She finds it “awkward and embarrassing”.

No longer, Claire! When people gush over your beautiful images, just say “Thank you”! You are gorgeous and you deserve to hear it!

Debbie - I am so proud of Claire! That’s how we became friends, is because of her caring nature and smile. She has a heart of gold, and always there to help someone. Beautiful classy lady!
